I remember dearly this 2018 trip to New york for New Year’s Eve. A huge snowstorm hit as we arrived to I got to shoot in magical (but cold) conditions. During the coldest day, I had to go back to the flat we rented to switch cameras since the viewfinder and shutter had frozen. This first series is made of vertical pictures, which I don’t usually shoot a lot. You’ll maybe notice that these shots sometimes show a mystic haze, result of snow and ice sticking to the lens. Taken with Leica M9 and M8, 35mm Lux and 60mm Hexanon.
