As the heat pounds the plains of Rajasthan, some lucky Indians are able to escape by reaching the heights of Mont Abu. Located 1700 meters above sea level, temperatures are cooler and a nice little village stands on the shores of a small lake. They sometimes call it the Switzerland of Radjasthan, maybe, but for sure a more colorful one. When sunset comes, all visitors head to the peak that stands above the resort to view a stunning sunset. Some will opt for some help to concur the last kilometer, trolled around in tiny karts by men in turban. Monkeys will be part of the event also, begging for some treats. Finally, in a country where contact between couples is basically prohibited in the street, you'll find a few lovers hugging as the sun vanishes in the horizon. (click on pictures for high res)
