Parvati Hill

I never knew how big was pune. It always looked like a small city to me, even though some people told me numbers as extravagant as 7 millions people. Yet today, when we climbed on Parvati Hill and got a 360 view on the city, it did indeed look like a large metropolis. On top of that hill stand a few temples and it seems a popular destination of worshippers and lovers. The moment was peaceful as few people made it up there in the strong afternoon heat. Obviously, at soon as we got back to the bottom, the crazyness started again. Downtown was not too far.  (click on pictures for high res)
