I still have some series from Burma to post but thought I would show today my first shots in India, in honour of the Holi Festival. Also named Festival of Colours, Holi is celebrated on full moon and marks the beginning of Summer. Bonfires are lit, offrands are made and dances close that first night of celebration.
This series shows the making of the bonfire, the rituals around it and finally, the bonfire at night. (click on pictures for high res)
