When one sets foot to Philippines, he is straight away surprised by the bus units. Indeed, they consist of a Jeep looking front and a used truck enging is built in. They come in thousands different colors and designs and have the characteristic to be often overcrowded.
Luckily, we found a regular bus for the 8 hours drive that took us to the rice terraces region of Banaue. Yet the 2 hours we spent on dirt tracks to reach the hotel and view points where spent on a Jeep. Quite an exercise. (click on pictures for high res)
