A few days ago, I posted a picture about a dancing father. Well, this shot was taken a couple of minutes later from the same spot. Different angle, B&W processing and a completely different mood to it. It might very well depict an apocalyptic scene. Street photography is often said to be documentary. Lately, I have had my doubts about it. Or maybe it just documents what is in the head of a photographer in a given moment of time.   (click on picture for high res) Leica M9 with 35mm Lux Asph at F1.4, 1/500, ISO160

Sometimes you shoot a celebrity without knowing. Looking back at my archives this weekend, I was stuck by the resemblance of this girl with Kaley Cuoco of the Big Bang Theory. What do you think? Kaley or not Kaley ? Note that the picture was taken in London in July 2009 and was originally posed on my former blog. A street photographer unawarely just turned a paparazzi, shame on me!  (click on picture for high res) Leica M8 at 1/90, ISO640

Since Pope Fransisco was elected to take the head of the Catholic Church, a wind of change is blowing. The whole organization has been asked to loosen up and be closer to the people everyday life. So much, that a local father was bold enough to improvise a little swing during the pilgrimage to San Nicolas. (click on picture for high res) Leica M9 with 35mm Lux Asph at 5.6, 1/30, ISO160

30 years ago, the Virgin appeared in front of a lady from the town of San Nicolas. Since that day, between 200 and 400'00o pilgrims walk from Rosario to San Nicolas every year to commemorate the event. Not an easy trip since 60 kilometers separate the two cities.
