Water buffaloes Street

Obviously, it is a well known fact that cows are sacred in India. Therefore, you’ll often see them wandering in a street, unbothered, and even sometimes in  the middle of high traffic. Yet I did not expect to discover a full street inhabited by cattle breeders in the heart of this 4 millions people metropolis. And not any kind of cows, but big and proud water buffaloes.  This series is therefore on life in “Water buffaloes Street”  (click on pictures for high res)

All pictures taken with Leica M8 and 35mm Lux Asph.
