... the shots in yesterday's post were all shot with the 35mm Lux Asph on the Leica M8. I guess this must come to a surprise to many since few of you got both sides of the equation correct. It probably was a bit tricky since these shots definitely have a 35mm look (distortion + the way I chose shots with wide scenes), yet the crop factor resulted in a 50mm field of view. You'll also notice that it is quite difficult to recognize a camera's output based on a web image, even at 1280 pixels. The reality is that...

I would read one and think "He/she is right" then move on to the next one and tell myself "He/she is right too". Indeed, many very wise comments ... but not decision yet.
