Venetians shadows

One of the great aspects of visiting Venice in November is that the sun stays low during the whole day. That creates long shadows for one to include in his photography. Shadows is also a good theme for Venice since a lot of its political and social history was made of intrigues and secret conspiracies. Indeed, while walking in its tight streets or cruising over its canals, you can almost hear the murmurs of subversive ghosts. Eternal lovers or wanna be doges ? They are still around.
