As you might know, I am not a huge fan of "in your face" type of street photography. Most of the time, it just results in a face among thousands others, and therefore fails to produce interesting photographs. Obviously since the girl was dressed in red and wore a hat (recurring themes in my photography), I had to make an exception and take that one. The scene happened in Place Concorde and is a candid, meaning that it wasn't posed. The girl did see me just before I clicked which might explain the slight change in expression. Not that I...

It does happen when shooting at F1.4 on a 60mm lens. Still, I think it is not big deal in the case of this picture, almost adding to the mood of the shot.
