A lot of Indians do not have running water in their house. So they'll head to the public tap to fill a few jerry cans to bring back home. Evidently, most of the clothes and dish washing happens in the street. As for the daily shower, some will hide behind a small wall while others share their great pleasure to be rubbed in the back with passer-bys. (click on pictures for high res)
