So here are finally some more pictures from Myanmar (Burma) since we found a good internet connection here in Bagan. Discover the floating monastery of Lake Inle, where many monk kids reside. This series mixes text and pictures. (click on pictures for high res)
As we near the monastery, some little boats come near our motor boat.
They kindly let us priority to board the monastery pier.
As we enter the main hall of the monastery, little monks start to appear in the shadows.
And they all converged towards the elder which was cooking lunch.
Meanwhile, I improvised a portraits session. There were a lot of laughs when I showed them the pictures on the LCD.
As we said good-bye and were ready to leave, we heard screams on the main court.
And to my great surprise, monks play “Star Wars” in Burma too.
