Here are a few words by Thomas on his picture :

This picture was taken last month in New York. It was a rainy evening, and I probably took the best pictures of my stay during that night. I have chosen this picture because it represents well what I like in street photography, that is “stealing” the emotion of a walker-by amongst all the others. I believe the expression of the young woman is moving, she seems not to know where her steps will lead her in the NY night.
