Porto is one of the few large cities in Europe whose downtown is still inhabited by the popular class. Unlike Paris, London or Madrid where offices and high income have taken possession, you still see kids, grand-mothers or fishermen strolling in the streets of downtown neighbourhoods. I also noticed how people from Porto love to look at the street from their windows, so for once, it was the passer-by that had a close look at them. (click on pictures for high res).
