Bolhao Market

When you enter the gigantic Bolhao, it seems that time stopped many years ago. Yet, customers and merchants did age,and you get the impression that the market will disappear the day this generation passes away. There are even talks of destruction this wonderful structure. It would be a shame. So here is a walk in the alleys of the Bolhao Market (click on pictures to enlarge)

Amongst the fruit, vegetables, flower and meat stands, an improbable stockings shop can be found.

But it is time to go home, with the head probably full of souvenirs of the times of splendor of Bolhao Market.
